The Canadian Bed and Breakfast Guide, founded in 1982, is the oldest national bed and breakfast guide in Canada.

Early in 2004 the web site was massively revamped to give it a style that accentuates the character of the fine B&Bs of Canada. The ambiance of this site with its warmth and friendly demeanor helps to depict the total bed and breakfast experience to the traveller.

Since this re-styling the site has grown dramatically and experiences over a million visits annually.

We continue to introduce positive changes periodically in our program of improving the site for both the traveller and the bed and breakfast host.

While the internet is of ever increasing importance and we invest in it in recognition of this, there is still the traveller who prefers the printed version. We publish The Guide bi-annually in printed form. It is an excellent travelling companion for those who like to travel without a fixed itinerary and provides an excellent assistance to trip planning for those who need a fixed program.

Both the on-line Guide and the printed Guide carry a wide array of additional information for the traveller, concentrating on things to do in their travels, as well as travellers' services items such as information for emergency needs, currency exchange calculations, etc.

The Canadian Bed and Breakfast Guide is owned by Marybeth Moyer and operated by her and her husband Jay. Together they ran a successful bed and breakfast, with over 12 years operating experience, giving them an intimate knowledge of the needs of hosts and guests.

Suggestions from both hosts and guests for improvement to our service are always welcome and can be made to:
